The project Capacity Building in Research Infrastructures Towards One Health was officially launched at a meeting in Graz on 17 – 18 September. Coordinated by BBMRI-ERIC, it connects research infrastructures to identify neccessary training and provide a platform for further deeping the knowledge and expertise of infrastructure professionals across Europe.

The main goal is to draw from functioning programs to develop the NextGen Training platform that will follow up on CaBRIOH objectives. NextGen should provide ways to learn and make new skills and competencies for current and new One Health research infrastructure staff. It should offer the transfer of knowledge, webinars, and learning opportunities from participating infrastructures in different fields of research and biobanking.

Over the next three years, EIRENE will cooperate with BBMRI.at, BBMRI.ch/Swiss Biobanking, BBMRI.de/German Biobank Network, BBMRI.es, BBMRI.it, BBMRI-ERIC to lead the project to a successful end.
