First Meeting of the Board of Governmental Representatives

EIRENE begins the next phase of preparations for becoming a European Research Infrastructure Consortium following the first meeting of the Board of Governmental Representatives. The meeting marked a significant milestone in the development of EIRENE, which has completed its preparatory phase and is now moving towards implementation.

EIRENE IMP project officially launched in Prague

The EIRENE IMP project was officially launched during a two-day hybrid kick-off meeting held on 25–26 June 2026 at the Technology Centre Prague. The opening event brought together project partners, representatives of national nodes of the EIRENE RI research infrastructure, and project managers from the beneficiary and the European Commission.

22nd RECETOX Summer School strengthened international expertise in chemical monitoring and risk assessment

Summer School took place at the RECETOX facilities and brought together experts, researchers, and young professionals from different countries. The programme consisted of two complementary modules addressing key topics related to the assessment and management of chemical risks.

EIRENE at the RIFF Summit

Researchers, infrastructure managers, and policy representatives from across Europe and Ukraine gathered in Brno for the RIFF Thematic Summit on Health, Food, Environment, and Data & Computing Research Infrastructures. EIRENE and RECETOX contributed to the programme through presentations by Prof. Jana Klánová and guided tours of RECETOX laboratories and biobanking facilities.

President Pavel Visits Košetice Observatory

President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel visited the National Atmospheric Observatory Košetice operated by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute. The observatory is a key site for collaboration between the European research infrastructures EIRENE, ACTRIS and ICOS, supporting research on atmospheric processes, environmental exposures and their impacts on human health.
