Audit of the Czech Institute for Accreditation (ČIA) in the Trace Analytical Laboratories
During the regular monitoring visit of the Czech Institute for Accreditation in Trace Analytical Laboratories in June, the scope of accreditation was extended by two new analytical methods.
One of them is the method for the determination of organochlorine pesticides, polychlorinated biphenyls, and brominated flame retardants in blood serum and plasma using gas chromatography with mass spectrometric detection and atmospheric pressure ionization (GC-APCI-MS/MS).
The second method is the determination of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and furans and dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls in the air using the same technique (GC-APCI-MS/MS) as a confirmation technique for high-resolution mass spectrometry used so far.
The amendment to the Accreditation Certificate will be available within two months on the RECETOX/LSA Research Infrastructure website.
Another point of discussion with the ČIA was the preparation of the CELSPAC Biobank's accreditation.
